Thirty-Nine Michigan Pharmacies Indicate They Will NOT Distribute Mifepristone for Abortion.
Earlier this year (January 2023), the Biden Administration’s Food and Drug Administration paved the way for retail pharmacies to distribute Mifepristone for abortion. Following this unprecedented action, Right to Life of Michigan (RLM) volunteers reached out to more than 200 pharmacies across the state to share their concerns about distributing this dangerous drug in their communities and to identify those pharmacies committed NOT to offer Mifepristone for abortion.
As of March 30, 2023, there are 39 pharmacies at which an employee serving in the pharmacy (the pharmacist or another employee) reportedly indicated their pharmacy will not be distributing Mifepristone for abortion.
While volunteers strove to secure accurate information, it is important to factor in that this is a dynamic situation. We can expect that some pharmacies will change their positions as a result of a variety of factors. Please email RLM at info@rtl.org should you learn new information about any of the pharmacies below or identify additional pharmacies committed NOT to distribute Mifepristone for abortion.
